We are Sharon Ann and Robert Paradis and we have a small Ragdoll cattery in central Maine. We chose the name Orchid for our cattery because we grow orchids along with breeding Ragdolls.

Our Cattery is registered under the name Orchid with ACFA (American Cat Fanciers Association, Inc.), CFF (Cat Fanciers' Federation) and TICA (The International Cat Association, Inc.) and we are registered with CFA (Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc.) as Orchid Rags.  We are members of ACFA, CFF and TICA; Breed Council members of CFA, Breeders of Distinction and Founding Members of RFW (Ragdoll Fanciers Worldwide), Founding Members of RBC (Ragdoll Breed Club), members of RFCI (Ragdoll Fanciers Club International), and RFC (Ragdoll Fanciers' Club).

All of our cats are registered with ACFA, CFA, CFF, and TICA, as are all of our litters.

Our proven Sires are: Champion Fancyrags Budspike Teddy of Orchid, Champion B&B's Ragdolls Masdevallia McGyver of Orchid and Regional Winner~Supreme Grand Champion BellaPalazzo Frances of Orchid.  We have added two males from our breeding, Double Grand Champion Orchid Miltonia Mosby and Orchid Maxillaria Handsome.

Our breeding Queens are: Champion Mainely Rags Boule de Neige of Orchid,  Champion Mainely Rags Eria Amber Flutterby of Orchid, sisters Grand Champion Orchid Darwinara Charm Blue Star and Champion Orchid Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn, sisters Champion Orchid Isabelia Blue Willow and Orchid Laeliocattleya Dixie Belle; Champion Orchid Dilaelia Snowflake; and sisters Champion Orchid Phalaenopsis Pixie Blue and Champion Orchid Aganisia Blue Angel.

Two of our alters have achieved the title of Supreme Grand Champion Alter in TICA, Orchid Fibber McGee and Regional Winner Orchid Habinaria Harriet.

Our Ragdolls live with us and enjoy all the luxuries of a retired couple.  Because our Ragdolls are first and foremost our pets it allows us to control the number of litters produced and most importantly socialize the new kittens.
